my inspiration

My love for photography originates from something that was passed down by my grandma, and that's a deep appreciation for nostalgic and sentimental moments. She always had a camera in her hand and I now have hundreds of pictures from my childhood to show for it. My favorite thing was always going over to her house and looking at old photo albums of my family. I love that I can look at those photos and get a glimpse into memories that aren't even mine. When the memories fade and the people pass on, what we have left are our photos. They prove our experiences were real and they were meaningful to us - that a moment in time was perfect, even if it was for a second. The photographs of my life and of my family are some of my most cherished  possessions.

I appreciate anything that makes me feel something - song lyrics, movie scenes, photographs. My job is to capture your story, but I aim to do it in a way that makes you remember how you felt, not just how you looked. I care deeply about my job and the connection I make with you. We all have such unique experiences and perspectives in life, so getting to know you and connecting with you is the root of understanding you and your story and capturing it in the most genuine way. I pour my heart and soul into my work and into every couple I work with. It is such a privilege to capture people in some of the most life-changing and special moments of their lives. I will give you photographs that will make you feel something, moments that you will cherish forever, like photos have done for me.

Welcome to my corner. I'm Claire, and I'm really into photographing love. Thanks for being here - I'm so excited at the thought of possibly getting to work with you! 

I am a grounded girl with a big heart and a free spirit. I love wide open spaces and am not afraid to get dirty, but also love a good red lip paired with a night out. I'm a cat mom, an introverted extrovert, and a major Swiftie (iykyk). I'm a sucker for sunsets, online shopping, good books, and anything pink. Cereal is quite literally my favorite food, I bleed Taurus, and I'm the most nostalgic and sentimental girl you will ever meet. I'm a lover of love and such a hopeless romantic. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I own it- I feel everything very deeply. I cherish my people and relationships more than anything, and care so much about connecting and experiencing life on a different level.

I'm originally a Midwest girl, born and raised as a cheesehead in a small, rural Wisconsin town. In April 2023, I left my big- girl corporate job on a whim and moved out to Colorado to chase some bigger dreams that I had. Pretty surreal I get to do what I love in this beautiful place. I am so honored and so beyond grateful to have been able to work with so many amazing people. It's a gift to be able to document others' stories and tell them through the art of photography.
